Lamproom Theatre Company
The Lamproom Theatre Company, formed in 1999, is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and performs exclusively at the Lamproom Theatre.
Its inaugural production – ‘The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller – set the standard for the company’s future by giving Barnsley audiences first-class live theatre.
From high drama to all-out comedy, classics and original works, the company produces six plays a year; three in the spring and three in the autumn and has been highly successful in local and national drama festivals during its 20+ years of operation.
Details of upcoming plays are listed here with notification of all audition information, in addition to a history of work staged since its inception.
