    Set against the backdrop of a 1960’s America in the midst of political and social change, John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play portrays a progressive young priest, as their conduct comes under question by Sister Aloysius, the principal of a New York Catholic School, whose beliefs are deeply rooted in tradition.
